All international students are required by law to have ‘Overseas Student Health Cover’ (OSHC) for the entire period of the course. You also need to maintain OSHC while you live in Australia.
Taylors High School can arrange OSHC for the duration of your program. All you have to do is pay for the cover when you accept your offer with us. If you want us to arrange your OSHC for the first 12 months only, and your program is longer than 12 months, you are responsible for renewing it when it expires.
Allianz Global Assistance OSHC is the health insurance company that will provide your cover with us. In the event of medical treatment being required, they will pay benefits for the following:
Each individual in a family has a limit equivalent for a single person as long as the family maximum benefit has not been used
* Benefits payable as per the Medicare Benefits Schedule Fee
**Refer to the Allianz Global Assistance OSHC website for a full list of General Exclusions.
We have registered nursing staff on duty in our fully equipped, on-campus health facilities. Your health is important to us and we will refer you to a nearby health professional if you need to see a doctor.
